Alright....I have a stepper pulley from ENDYN and it was just installed on my car about a week ago. A problem has arose...slippage. The belt wants to keep slipping off of the pulley, especially at higher RPM's. It has already been tightened, that cured it for about 3 days, its now doing it again. Does ANYONE have a solution to this besides tightening the belt everyday which would be a major PIA! Thank you very much.

There are really only two reasons why a blower belt would slip... or jump teeth.

    1) Improper tension. If you feel that this is not your problem, since you have tightened it many times already, proceed to choice #2.

    2) Improper installation. One of two problems has occurred here: A) The alternator was not re-installed correctly. Check to make sure all bolts are tight and BOTH washers are between the upper alternator bracket and the alternator stay bracket. B) The stepper pulley itself was machined incorrectly. This can be verified by placing the original JR alternator pulley and the ENDYN pulley on a table together face up and making sure all ribs are in perfect alignment.

    Good luck.
